Entrance Criteria

At Great and Small Dog Care, the safety of the dogs we look after is our top priority. As such, we need to make sure all dogs in our care are suitable for our services.  Please review our entrance criteria below, and feel free to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

  • We will need proof that your dog’s veterinary care is up to date, including vaccinations (we require vaccinations against DHP and leptospirosis) and flea/tick/worming treatment. We’re happy to welcome puppies provided they have all necessary immunisations. All dogs must be free of any contagious illnesses.
  • We need all male dogs over one year old to be neutered, and can only accept unspayed female dogs when they are not in season.
  • We can only look after friendly, social dogs. Before accepting your booking, we’ll meet with you at one of our centres to assess your dog’s temperament.
